Aboitiz Equity Ventures Allocates P88.5 Billion Capex for 2026 Focused on Power Expansion
Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) plans to allocate P88.5 billion in capital expenditures for 2026, primarily for its power generation business. Approximately P62 billion will be invested through Aboitiz Power Corp., with 29% directed towards renewable energy and battery storage, and 21% towards thermal projects. Other segments will receive varying investments, including P8.8 billion for infrastructure and P6.3 billion for real estate. The 2026 capex is lower than the P132.3 billion planned for 2025, which included significant investments in power and infrastructure.

AEV reported a core net income of P25.5 billion for 2025, steady from 2024.
