Abu Dhabi's Green Bus Fleet Surpasses 1.3 Million Kilometers Since 2024 Launch
Abu Dhabi's green bus fleet has achieved over 1.3 million kilometers since its 2024 inception, enhancing low-emission transport. The initiative aligns with the UAE's Net Zero 2050 goals, promoting sustainable public transport solutions.

Abu Dhabi Mobility reported that its green bus fleet has traveled more than 1.3 million kilometers since its launch in 2024. The fleet utilizes electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses, contributing to the emirate's cleaner public transport initiatives.
This achievement coincided with World Public Transport Day on April 17, during which the Integrated Transport Centre launched the 'Public Transport to Work' initiative to encourage employee bus commuting. This program aims to alleviate congestion, reduce emissions, and promote public transport use. The advancement in clean technology reflects ongoing investments to enhance transport efficiency and passenger experience.
