Abundia and Topsoe Sign Licensing Agreement for HydroFlex Technology at Baytown Recycling Facility
Abundia Global Impact Group has entered a licensing agreement with Topsoe to implement HydroFlex technology at its first waste-plastics-to-renewable products recycling facility in Baytown. HydroFlex will be crucial in the upgrading process for converting plastic waste into renewable fuels and chemicals.
The agreement also establishes a long-term commitment to deploy HydroFlex across future facilities, integral to Abundia's 2026 development roadmap. Abundia collaborates with Alterra Energy for front-end conversion, while Topsoe provides back-end upgrading. This integration aims to produce commercial-grade renewable fuels, meeting global regulatory standards and enhancing circular economy initiatives.
