Accelsius Secures $65 Million Series B Funding Led by Johnson Controls to Enhance Liquid Cooling Solutions

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Accelsius has closed a $65 million Series B funding round led by Johnson Controls, with Legrand participating as a strategic investor. The funding will support the expansion of Accelsius' Austin production facility, accelerate global growth, and facilitate the rollout of its NeuCool two-phase liquid cooling technology for AI and high-performance computing.

This technology addresses the thermal management needs of modern data centers, which can consume up to 130 kilowatts per rack. The investment highlights the shift from air-based cooling to liquid cooling solutions designed for higher thermal densities. Accelsius is also developing new thermal reference designs and has secured agreements for deploying its technology, including a 300 MW campus project for DarkNX in Ontario.
