Acciona Acquires Australia's Largest Jackup Barge for Marine Infrastructure Projects
Acciona has added Australia's largest registered jackup barge, Beverly, to its marine fleet to support water infrastructure construction in Western Australia. The barge features a deck load capacity of 8 tonnes per sq m, a 400-tonne crane, a helideck, and accommodations for 50 workers. The first project for the barge will be the offshore intake structure for the Alkimos desalination plant in Perth.

Acciona has strengthened its marine fleet with the acquisition of Beverly, Australia's largest registered jackup barge, to aid in the construction of water infrastructure in Western Australia. The barge has an 8 tonnes per sq m deck load capacity, a 400-tonne crane, a helideck, and sleeping quarters for 50 personnel.
This strategic investment enhances Acciona's capacity to undertake complex marine projects. The initial project will involve constructing the offshore intake structure for the Alkimos desalination plant located in Perth.
