ACCIONA and Bolero Surf Launch Surfboard Fins from Recycled Wind Turbine Blades
ACCIONA has collaborated with Bolero Surf to introduce surfboard fins made from recycled wind turbine blades. Unveiled at the Aussie Boardriders Battle on the Gold Coast, the fins are the first commercial product from ACCIONA's Turbine Made initiative. Designed by Bolero Surf, the fins utilize fiberglass from retired turbine blades, offering performance and sustainability benefits. The project highlights the potential for circular economy practices in the renewable energy sector.
