Acodyne Secures €2.5M for Development of High-Speed Cargo Drones
Acodyne has raised €2.5 million in pre-seed funding to develop unmanned cargo drones for various logistics sectors. This funding will enable the startup to advance from concept to prototype, with initial flight tests for the E100 model expected before 2026, potentially reshaping logistics in defense and offshore operations.

Acodyne has raised €2.5 million in pre-seed funding to develop unmanned cargo drones, targeting defense and remote logistics. The funding round was led by Gungnir Capital and PSV Hafnium, with participation from EIFO, SAP9 Group, and GreenUP IV Invest.
The E100 prototype can carry 100 kg at speeds of 450 km/h, with future models projected to exceed 500 kg payloads within two years. Initial flight tests are scheduled before the end of 2026, followed by field trials in Greenland in spring 2027.
The cargo drone market is projected to grow from $2.1 billion currently to $103.7 billion by 2035. Acodyne's platform is designed to replace costly helicopter logistics and is expected to significantly impact military and offshore supply chains.
