ACQUA.Ecologie Signs 50-Year Lease at Ecosite in Mèze for Water Management Initiative
The Agglo de Sète has signed a 50-year emphyteutic lease with ACQUA.Ecologie at the Ecosite in Mèze, aiming for 50 jobs and €50 million in revenue by 2030. This partnership focuses on water management and reuse, establishing a reference site for water sovereignty. ACQUA.Ecologie, founded by Dr. Romain Salza, plans to develop a demonstrator for water autonomy and innovation, including a center for research and training.

On February 26, the Agglo de Sète signed a 50-year emphyteutic lease with ACQUA.Ecologie at the Ecosite in Mèze. This agreement aims to create 50 jobs and generate €50 million in revenue by 2030, highlighting the site's role in water reuse and management.
ACQUA.Ecologie, established in 2022, will develop facilities on a 5,000 m² area, housing the international headquarters of the Water Reuse Institute, a research center, production units, and a training center focusing on Europe and Africa. The lease solidifies the company's long-term presence and commitment to water innovation.
