Adani Green Energy Commissions 307.4 MW of Renewable Capacity in Gujarat, Totaling 17,237.2 MW
Adani Green Energy has commissioned 307.4 MW of new renewable power capacity in Khavda, Gujarat, increasing its total operational capacity to 17,237.2 MW. The newly operational projects include a 0.2 MW wind project, a 75 MW solar project, a 25 MW wind project, a 50 MW hybrid project, a 31.2 MW wind project, and a 126 MW hybrid project.
These plants will commence power generation on January 1, 2026. Adani Green Energy is also developing a 30 GW renewable energy plant in Khavda, which will be the largest power plant globally. In May 2025, AGEL signed a Power Purchase Agreement with UPPCL for 400 MW of solar power in Rajasthan, and in April 2025, it secured a PPA for 1,250 MW of pumped hydro energy storage. The company aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 50 GW by 2030, with an investment of about USD 21 billion.
