Adani Group and Odisha Government Discuss Major Infrastructure and Energy Projects
Karan Adani met Odisha Chief Minister to discuss significant industrial collaboration, focusing on a range of proposed projects. The state's planned power infrastructure investments of ₹16,000 crore aim to support rapid industrialization and enhance energy reliability.

The Adani Group is advancing multiple projects in Odisha, including an alumina refinery, bauxite mining, and an integrated coal gasification plant, with total investments expected to reach ₹80,000 crore. In a parallel initiative, the Odisha government aims to improve power infrastructure with a ₹16,000 crore investment strategy to support the anticipated establishment of 590 industrial projects by 2030-31.
Discussions between Karan Adani and state leaders focused on enhancing clean energy initiatives, including the establishment of two 3,000 MW power plants to boost carbon-free energy production. The state's energy landscape could significantly change as these initiatives align with Odisha's goals for sustainable development and reliable electricity supply.
