Adani Group Commits Rs 33,081 Crore to Odisha's Infrastructure Development
Adani Group announced a Rs 33,081 crore investment in Odisha, targeting digital infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing. The projects aim to create approximately 9,700 jobs and support the state's economic goals of reaching a $1.5 trillion economy by 2047.

The Adani Group is set to invest Rs 33,081 crore in Odisha, focusing on three key projects: a data center, a thermal power plant, and a cement manufacturing unit, which will generate around 9,700 jobs. The data center in Bhubaneswar will cost Rs 800 crore and support advancements in AI and cloud computing, while the thermal power plant near Cuttack, with an investment of Rs 30,181 crore, aims to bolster energy reliability and create 7,000 jobs.
Additionally, a cement plant worth Rs 2,100 crore will provide 2,500 jobs and support local infrastructure. This investment aligns with Odisha's ambition to grow into a $1.5 trillion economy by 2047, leveraging its resources and governance reforms.
