Adani Group to Invest $100 Billion in AI Data Centers by 2035
The Adani Group has announced a $100 billion investment to develop renewable energy-powered AI data centers in India by 2035. This initiative aims to create a $250 billion AI infrastructure ecosystem, including server manufacturing and cloud platforms, positioning India as a leader in the global AI landscape. The project will expand AdaniConnex's existing data center network and establish partnerships with Google and Microsoft for large-scale AI data centers. Additionally, the investment will enhance collaboration with Flipkart and support domestic manufacturing of critical infrastructure components.

The Adani Group will invest $100 billion to develop renewable energy-powered AI data centers in India by 2035. This investment is expected to catalyze an additional $150 billion in related sectors, resulting in a $250 billion AI infrastructure ecosystem over the next decade.
The initiative will expand AdaniConnex's existing 2 GW data center network to 5 GW, supported by partnerships with Google for a data center in Visakhapatnam and Microsoft in Hyderabad and Pune. The Group will also collaborate with Flipkart on a second AI data center. This approach aims to establish India as a leader in AI through a comprehensive energy-compute ecosystem.
