Adani Group is set to construct a renewable energy project in Khavda, Gujarat, with a capacity of 30 GW and a 14 GWh battery storage system. Covering 72,600 hectares, the project will consist of 700 battery containers and is expected to be operational by March 2026.
The facility will enhance the existing Adani Green Energy complex, which spans 538 km² and produces 7.1 GW from solar and wind sources. The initiative aims to support India's energy transition, targeting a total production of 30 GW by 2029. This project represents a significant step toward India's energy independence.
