Adani to Build 30 GW Solar and Wind Power Project with 14 GWh Storage in Gujarat's Khavda by 2030
Adani Group has announced a major renewable energy project in Khavda, Gujarat, featuring 30 GW capacity with a 14 GWh battery storage system. The project will utilize 72,600 hectares and includes 700 battery containers. The facility aims to support India's energy transition, reaching operational capacity by March 2026. It will serve the larger Adani Green Energy complex, which spans 538 km² and currently produces 7.1 GW of energy. Further developments are planned to meet a target of 30 GW by 2029, enabling decarbonized electricity for millions.
