Addionics and PNT Collaborate on Prismatic LFP Cells for Energy Storage Market

Addionics Ltd. and PNT Materials Co., Ltd. have partnered to develop, manufacture, and commercialize prismatic lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells for Energy Storage Systems (ESS). This collaboration aims to meet the rising energy demands of AI data centers and the global shift towards renewable energy.

The ESS market is projected to grow from approximately USD 668 billion today to over USD 5 trillion by 2034. The partnership combines Addionics' Smart 3D Current Collector technology with PNT's manufacturing capabilities to create cost-effective, high-quality LFP solutions. The companies will focus on cost reduction, manufacturability, and scalability, targeting data centers, renewable energy developers, and utility-scale storage providers.
