ADS-TEC Energy PLC has partnered with Stadtwerke Mühlacker to develop a 10 MW battery storage system with a 20 MWh capacity in Mühlacker, Germany, aimed at enhancing energy flexibility amid rising electricity demand. The project includes four BESS5000 battery storage containers and focuses on grid stabilization and revenue generation in the electricity market, with all processes conducted in Germany to ensure high security and availability standards.

ADS-TEC Energy PLC is collaborating with Stadtwerke Mühlacker to install a 10 MW battery storage system with a 20 MWh capacity at a substation in Mühlacker, Germany. This project aims to enhance energy system flexibility as electricity demand rises due to electric mobility and digital infrastructures.
ADS-TEC is responsible for the planning, implementation, and integration of the storage system, which includes four battery storage containers based on the BESS5000 system. The partnership focuses on achieving operational reliability and long-term management with a local partner.
The system is designed to stabilize the grid and create revenue opportunities in the electricity market. All development and integration processes are conducted in Germany to meet high standards for security and availability.
