Aegis, Seetel, and Malahat Launch 5 MWh Containerized Energy Storage System for North America and Europe
Aegis Critical Energy Defence Corp., in collaboration with Seetel New Energy and Malahat Battery Technologies, has launched the 5 MWh MBT-Seetel containerized energy storage system. This system is designed for scalable deployment in extreme environments across the Americas and meets UL 9540 and UL 9540A certification for North America and is expected to deliver to Europe in Q2 2026.
The MBT-Seetel features advanced safety and scalability, incorporating Indigenous-led integration, Canadian technology, and a global manufacturing footprint in Taiwan and Canada. Key components include AI-enabled monitoring, advanced materials, and a quantum-security layer from Quantum eMotion.
The system is aimed at utilities, defense agencies, and remote communities, providing energy resilience for critical operations including emergency response and grid-independent facilities. Aegis has also strengthened its market presence and partnerships while focusing on secure energy solutions.
