AeH2 Signs MoUs to Boost Hydrogen Economy with Global Partners
The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) has signed five memorandums of understanding with international organizations to promote the hydrogen economy. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among industry, governments, and research institutions to accelerate technological development and establish hydrogen as a key player in the energy transition. The agreements were signed during the European Hydrogen Congress (EHEC) 2026 in Seville, reinforcing Spain's leadership in the hydrogen sector and emphasizing the importance of global cooperation.

The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) has signed five memorandums of understanding with various organizations, including the Hydrogen Energy Association (UK), GIZ (Germany), H2 Peru, the Mexican Hydrogen Society, and Hydrogen Colombia. These agreements aim to foster collaboration among industry, governments, and research entities to promote innovation and accelerate the hydrogen economy.
The signing took place at the European Hydrogen Congress (EHEC) 2026 in Seville, which focused on hydrogen’s role in economic decarbonization and the importance of stable regulatory frameworks for investment. Participants emphasized the need for access to renewable resources and the development of infrastructure to support hydrogen projects.
