Aehr Test Systems has secured a follow-on order from its main silicon photonics client for wafer-level testing and burn-in equipment. This order includes a new FOX-XP system and an upgrade of an existing system to ultra-high power, capable of testing nine 300mm wafers simultaneously at 3,500 watts each.

The equipment will be used for silicon photonics integrated circuits in AI data centers, with expected shipment in H2 2026. Aehr has reported a revenue growth of 2.9% over three years, with current revenue at $53.25 million. The company faces challenges with a net margin of -16.63% and an Altman Z-Score indicating low bankruptcy risk, while maintaining high institutional ownership.
