Aeon Successfully Tests Zeus Tactical Missile in Texas, Enhancing US Ground Forces' Firepower
Aeon, a rocket startup based in Austin, Texas, has successfully tested its shoulder-fired tactical missile named Zeus. This marks a significant milestone in the development of a low-cost precision weapon that could transform the firepower of US infantry. The test was conducted at an east Texas site, with support from the Army Applications Laboratory and DEVCOM. The Zeus missile weighs 9 kg and is 76 cm long, utilizing low-observable propellant and controlled by the ODIN software for automatic target recognition and continuous tracking.
