Aer Soléir has secured financing for its 250MW Rondissone battery energy storage project in Piedmont, Italy, marking it as the largest BESS under construction in the country. The financing, structured by Centrus, includes senior debt facilities covering up to 80% of capital expenditures over a 15-year amortization period.

Key financial partners include Bayern LB, Nord/LB, CIBC, Siemens Financial Services, and ABN AMRO. The total project cost is approximately €180 million and is part of Aer Soléir's €1.5 billion investment plan for 17 renewable energy projects in Italy over the next five years. The Rondissone project has secured a 15-year capacity market contract with the Italian government and a seven-year fixed toll agreement with EGO Energy.
