Aerolloy Technologies Secures Order from Blue Origin for BE-4 Rocket Engine Components

SPACE ECONOMY

PTC Industries' subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies, has received a development and supply order from Blue Origin for components of the BE-4 rocket engines, which are integral to the New Glenn heavy-lift launch vehicle. The order includes the production of large nickel-based Superalloy investment castings, specifically housings and manifolds for the engine's liquid oxygen systems, designed to meet stringent performance and safety standards.

Aerolloy's capabilities, bolstered by a new Vacuum Induction Melting furnace, enable high-precision manufacturing under extreme conditions. This partnership enhances supply-chain resilience as Blue Origin prepares for regular launches. The order also signifies a strategic shift for Aerolloy into orbital-class propulsion hardware, supporting PTC Industries' vertically integrated manufacturing model.
