Aetherflux and Lockheed Martin have formed a strategic partnership to develop technology for transmitting solar energy wirelessly from space to Earth and lunar bases. The concept involves positioning satellites in optimal orbits to harness constant solar energy, which can be transmitted via microwaves.

The collaboration aims to create flexible, wireless energy distribution systems that could also support orbital data centers for artificial intelligence development. Aetherflux plans to launch its first satellite for a space-based data center, named Galactic Brain, in Q1 2027 to meet energy demands for AI. Additionally, by 2026, Aetherflux intends to launch a satellite capable of wirelessly transmitting energy from low Earth orbit to the surface using lasers.
