Aetherflux, a space-based solar power company founded by Robinhood co-founder Baiju Bhatt, has appointed Joe Yaffe as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Legal Officer (CLO). Yaffe will manage worldwide operations, legal, and regulatory affairs.

His appointment follows Aetherflux's $90M Series A financing and the planned Q1 2027 launch of its 'Galactic Brain' orbital data center project, aimed at addressing energy needs for artificial intelligence. Aetherflux is developing a constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to harvest solar power and transmit it to Earth using lasers. The company, founded in 2024 and backed by Index Ventures and NEA, is focused on revolutionizing energy distribution for remote environments.
