Aetherflux Expands to Seattle for Satellite Development Hub

Aetherflux, a space startup based in the Bay Area, is establishing a satellite development hub in Seattle. Founded in 2024 by Baiju Bhatt, the company focuses on developing an orbital data center satellite called 'Galactic Brain' to utilize solar power for addressing energy demands of artificial intelligence, with a target for its first commercial node in 2027.
The company raised $50 million in Series A funding in April 2025, totaling $60 million in funding. Aetherflux has gained attention from the U.S. military for its space solar power initiatives.
