AEW has acquired a fully leased data center in the Nuremberg metropolitan area, marking its first investment in German data centers. This acquisition is part of AEW Patrimoine AEW Diversification Allemagne, which targets diverse real estate assets in Germany. The data center, acquired from AVENTOS, spans 2,592 m² and is leased to a global technology group under a long-term double-net lease. The German data center market is the largest in the EU, with projected growth rates offering attractive investment opportunities.

AEW has entered the German data center market by acquiring a fully leased facility in Nuremberg, intended for AEW Patrimoine AEW Diversification Allemagne. This marks AEW's first investment in this asset class in Germany.
The 2,592 m² data center, sourced from AVENTOS, features external infrastructure for power and fiber-optic connectivity and is leased to a recognized global technology group. The German data center market is the largest in the EU and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8.9% by 2030. This acquisition increases AEW Diversification Allemagne’s assets under management to €169.9 million, enhancing its sector diversification.
