Statkraft Energi plans to enter into a NOK 400 million execution contract with AF Gruppen for the rehabilitation of the Bjølsegrøvatn dam in Kvam, Vestland, pending final investment approval. The project involves replacing the main and auxiliary dams with a new concrete dam downstream, along with constructing an access road and tunnel for improved site accessibility.

Construction is set to begin in spring 2026 and is expected to be completed in 2029. AF Gruppen will utilize its expertise in hydropower, concrete, and tunnelling for this infrastructure upgrade.
