Aikido Technologies Launches AO60DC Floating Offshore Wind Platform with Integrated AI Datacenter
Aikido Technologies has launched the AO60DC, a floating offshore wind platform that integrates AI-grade compute and battery storage. Designed for 10-12MW of compute alongside a 15-18MW wind turbine, the platform aims to address the rising demand for AI infrastructure by utilizing offshore resources. A proof-of-concept unit is under development in Norway with a commercial project targeted in the UK for 2028. The platform promises reduced costs and faster deployment timelines for AI computing solutions.

Aikido Technologies has unveiled the AO60DC, a floating offshore wind platform designed to co-locate AI-grade computing with wind generation and battery storage. The platform can host 10-12MW of compute and a 15-18MW wind turbine, targeting sovereign waters globally.
It aims to provide gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure while leveraging abundant offshore energy and cooling. A proof-of-concept is being developed in Norway for deployment in 2026, with the first commercial project set for the UK in 2028.
The design incorporates a modular approach for faster assembly and reduced costs. Aikido is part of the NVIDIA Inception program and has attracted interest from AI customers.
