Aikido Technologies to Host Data Centers in Underwater Tanks of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines
Aikido Technologies plans to integrate data centers into the ballast tanks of its floating offshore wind turbines. Each tank can accommodate a 3-4 MW data hall, allowing for a combined capacity of 10-12 MW. The North Sea is identified as the initial location for this project, aimed at enhancing energy independence in Europe. The design utilizes a closed-loop cooling system with freshwater, and addresses challenges such as marine environmental conditions and power supply security.

Aikido Technologies intends to house data centers within the ballast tanks of its floating offshore wind turbines, each capable of holding 3-4 MW of computing power. The North Sea is the proposed site, as it aligns with European goals for energy independence.
