AIR and ST Engineering Launch DrN-600 Uncrewed Cargo Aircraft for Europe and Asia
AIR has launched the DrN-600, an uncrewed electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed for commercial cargo operations in Europe and Asia, in collaboration with ST Engineering. With a maximum takeoff weight under 600 kg and a payload capacity of up to 100 kg, the DrN-600 complies with European Union Aviation Safety Agency standards, facilitating regulatory adherence for cargo missions. This partnership aims to combine AIR's electric flight technology with ST Engineering's manufacturing expertise to meet the growing demand for uncrewed aerial cargo systems.

Florida-based AIR has unveiled the DrN-600, an uncrewed electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight under 600 kg, designed for commercial cargo operations in Europe and Asia. Developed in partnership with ST Engineering, the DrN-600 can carry payloads of up to 100 kg and is compliant with European Union Aviation Safety Agency standards, facilitating cargo missions within current regulations.
The aircraft shares its architecture with AIR's piloted AIR ONE and a larger cargo eVTOL, enabling scalable production and reduced development risk. The collaboration aims to leverage AIR's electric flight technology and ST Engineering's aerospace manufacturing expertise to meet the rising demand for uncrewed aerial cargo systems. The DrN-600 is positioned for operational deployment, avoiding the regulatory challenges of heavier uncrewed aircraft.
