Air Products Secures Over $140 Million NASA Contracts for Liquid Hydrogen Supply
Air Products has been awarded contracts exceeding $140 million by NASA to supply liquid hydrogen to various facilities, including the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The contracts entail the delivery of approximately 36.5 million pounds of liquid hydrogen for operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, and Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
This partnership dates back to 1957 and has supported numerous missions, including Apollo and Artemis programs. In 2025, Air Products filled NASA's hydrogen sphere, the largest of its kind, with over 730,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen. The company also provides gases for privatized space launches and testing.
