Air Products plans to construct a new air separation unit in Cocoa, Florida, to supply gases for the growing space launch industry. The facility aims to be operational by late 2028 and will also serve regional markets including metals processing and healthcare.

Air Products is set to build a new air separation unit (ASU) in Cocoa, Florida, with a target operational date in the second half of 2028. This facility will produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, supporting both the space launch sector and regional industries such as metals processing and healthcare.
The company has a history of over thirty years operating an ASU in Orlando, which has contributed to local economic development. With around 70 ASUs nationwide, this new plant will strengthen Air Products' regional capabilities.
