Aktor-Suez and Veolia-Mesogeios Partnerships for Water Management in Greece
Major partnerships in Greece are evolving to address climate change and water management. The Aktor Group has partnered with SUEZ for comprehensive water management services, aiming to enhance sustainability. Additionally, Veolia is in advanced negotiations to acquire a significant stake in Mesogeios, which operates in environmental projects. The Greek government has allocated approximately €7.1 billion for various water supply and irrigation projects, indicating a strong focus on improving the resilience of water systems.

Aktor Group has partnered with SUEZ to enhance sustainable water management services in Greece. This partnership aims to cover the entire water cycle, from supply to wastewater treatment. Concurrently, Veolia is negotiating to acquire a significant stake in Mesogeios, which specializes in environmental projects. The Greek government plans to invest €7.1 billion over the next decade on water supply and irrigation projects, including the 'Evrytos' project with a €500 million budget and the HYDOR 2.0 program with a €1.6 billion budget, signaling a robust effort to address climate change and improve water infrastructure.
