Al-Abbas Shrine Starts Construction of Water Purification Station near Imam Al-Mahdi's Maqam
The Engineering Projects Department at Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine has initiated a project to construct a water purification and desalination station near the Maqam of Imam Al-Mahdi. This facility aims to provide drinking water for visitors to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, as well as local residents, as part of an urban development plan to improve infrastructure and services in the old city.

The Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine has commenced construction of a water purification and desalination station near the Maqam of Imam Al-Mahdi. This project is intended to supply drinking water to visitors of the shrines and local residents.
The station will enhance water quality by removing salts and impurities, addressing water scarcity issues.
