Alkyl Amines Resumes Ammonia Production Amid Global Supply Challenges
Alkyl Amines Chemicals is restarting ammonia-based manufacturing despite ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting supply. This development may indicate potential recovery in production levels, though full normalization remains uncertain.

Alkyl Amines Chemicals announced a phased restart of its ammonia production, signaling a recovery following disruptions caused by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The company noted that improvements in supply conditions have allowed this gradual resumption, although full normalization may take additional time due to a still-dynamic supply environment.
The International Energy Agency reported that geopolitical issues have led to the loss of approximately 120 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies by 2030, representing 15% of global expected LNG supply. The ongoing conflict has already caused a decline in LNG supplies from Qatar and the UAE by 20 bcm. Investor focus will likely remain on Alkyl Amines as it navigates these challenges and seeks operational continuity.
