Alma Metals Initiates Drilling at Briggs Copper Project for Resource Upgrade
Alma Metals has launched a major drilling program at the Briggs copper project to enhance and expand the mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 2 million tonnes of contained copper. The initiative aims to transition the project from exploration to development through a prefeasibility study (PFS).

Alma Metals (ASX: ALM) has commenced a significant infill drilling program at its Briggs copper project in Queensland. The drilling targets extensions to known mineralization and copper anomalies, focusing on upgrading the inferred resource into the indicated category to support a prefeasibility study.
The MRE is currently defined at 2 million tonnes of contained copper at a 0.15% cut-off, with potential for further resource expansion as drilling indicates the system remains open at depth. This strategic drilling is synchronized with ongoing technical workstreams, including metallurgy and environmental studies, crucial for advancing towards development.
