Alphawave Semi and InnoLight Collaborate on Low-Latency Optical Solution for AI Infrastructure at OFC 2024
Alphawave Semi and InnoLight Technology are showcasing a low-power, low-latency plugable optical solution at OFC 2024, utilizing PCIe 6.0 technology. This collaboration aims to enhance connectivity for high-performance AI workloads in data centers, crucial for modern infrastructure.

Alphawave Semi and InnoLight Technology are set to demonstrate a low-power, low-latency linear pluggable optical (LPO) solution at OFC 2024, achieving 64 Gbps per lane. This solution integrates Alphawave's PCIe 6.0 subsystem (Controller + PHY) with InnoLight's LPO OSFP optics, facilitating scalable connectivity in disaggregated networks.
The PCIe subsystem is optimized for energy efficiency and low latency, crucial for high-performance computing and AI applications. The demonstration will take place at InnoLight's booth 2625, highlighting the potential for accelerating optical connectivity solutions in data center environments.
