Altamonte Springs Launches Center for International Business Compliance with Buy America Act
Altamonte Springs has established a Center of Excellence to assist international businesses with compliance under the Build America, Buy America Act. This initiative aims to enhance economic development and facilitate access to federal funding for eligible companies.

The Center of Excellence (COE) in Altamonte Springs, Florida, is designed to help international companies comply with the Build America, Buy America Act, which mandates that federally funded infrastructure projects use domestically produced materials. The COE, operated in partnership with TSG Transportation Advisors, will provide expertise on federal procurement, compliance advisory, and workforce development.
The initiative is anticipated to attract construction firms, advanced air mobility companies, and technology developers. The partnership with TSG costs $8,000 monthly, furthering a public-private collaboration that aims to enhance Florida's economic landscape. This center responds to increased regulatory demands, which could impact international market entry strategies.
