Amazon signed a 450,000 square foot lease for a warehouse at 139 Campanelli Drive in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, in Q4 2023. The property was acquired by Seyon Group in 2021 for $18 million, and construction completed in 2023.

The lease follows Amazon's opening of a 4 million square foot facility in North Andover, Massachusetts, in 2024, which cost about $400 million. Amazon plans to invest $15 billion in data center campuses in northern Indiana and is shifting its distribution strategy to utilize smaller centers for quick deliveries. Additionally, the company announced layoffs of 14,000 corporate employees.
