STRATEGIC MINERALS
On February 12, 2026, Alliance Mining Commodities Guinea (AMC-G) signed three local development agreements with communities in Gaoual. The first two agreements target the rural communes of Koumbia and Wendou M'Bour, directly impacted by the Koumbia bauxite project, while the third pertains to all sub-prefectures in Gaoual.
The Ministry of Mines and Geology played a significant role in their creation. AMC-G aims to assist communities in improving basic infrastructure, promoting local economic development, and ensuring transparency and accountability in resource management.
