AMD and Nutanix Partner to Develop Open AI Infrastructure Platform for Enterprises
AMD and Nutanix have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to develop an open full-stack AI infrastructure platform for enterprises. The collaboration will integrate AMD's silicon innovations with Nutanix's cloud orchestration, optimizing their platforms for deployment in data centers, hybrid environments, edge, and multi-cloud settings. AMD will invest $150 million in Nutanix and allocate up to $100 million for joint engineering and marketing efforts, targeting completion by Q2 2026, pending regulatory approval.

AMD and Nutanix are collaborating on an open full-stack AI infrastructure platform aimed at enterprise needs. This partnership focuses on developing agentic AI solutions for data centers, hybrid environments, edge, and multi-cloud.
The integration will leverage AMD EPYC processors and AMD Instinct GPUs within the Nutanix Cloud and Kubernetes Platforms. AMD will invest $150 million in Nutanix and allocate an additional $100 million for joint engineering and marketing, with an expected close by Q2 2026. The platform will enhance AI model flexibility and operational efficiency, targeting a market launch by late 2026.
