AMD Projects $13 Billion Revenue Driven by Data Center AI Demand
AMD anticipates third-quarter revenue of approximately $13 billion, driven by robust demand for AI-centric data center solutions. This forecast reflects a significant shift in the company's revenue structure, with data center sales surging to a record $6.72 billion in Q2 2026, more than doubling year-over-year.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reported second-quarter revenue of $11.54 billion, a 50% increase year-over-year, largely fueled by its data center segment, which generated $6.72 billion. AMD expects third-quarter revenue between $12.7 billion and $13.3 billion, surpassing analyst estimates.
Data center revenue accounted for 58% of total revenue, marking a pivotal shift in the company's business focus. However, supply constraints from TSMC pose challenges. The AI market’s expansion is expected to drive continued growth, with AMD's integrated Helios systems set to enhance competitiveness against Nvidia, despite Nvidia's current market dominance in data centers.
