AMD Unveils World's First 2nm EPYC Venice CPU and Instinct MI455X GPU for Helios AI Rack
AMD has introduced the world's first 2nm EPYC Venice 'Zen 6' CPU and Instinct MI455X GPU, designed for the Helios AI Rack. The Helios AI Rack, showcased at Financial Analyst Day 2025, features a fully liquid-cooled design with four MI455X GPUs and one Venice CPU, achieving up to 2.9 Exaflops of AI compute and 31 TB of HBM4 memory.
The Venice CPU supports up to 256 cores using the Zen 6C architecture, while the MI455X GPU includes two Graphics Compute Dies, two Memory Controller Dies, and 16 HBM4 sites. AMD also plans a full data center solution portfolio based on its EPYC Venice, MI400, and Vulcano interconnect technologies, including a 72 GPU Rack for Hyperscale AI and an 8 GPU Enterprise AI solution.
