American Rare Earths Selected for DOE METALLIC Consortium Feedstock from Halleck Creek Ore
American Rare Earths has been selected to provide feedstock for the DOE METALLIC consortium to establish domestic critical minerals supply chains. In December 2025, the company supplied 5 tonnes of allanite ore from the Cowboy State Mine. The METALLIC consortium, led by the National Energy Technology Laboratory, includes nine national labs to enhance CMM technology development. Halleck Creek ore will be processed at four METALLIC test centers, with potential benefits for more efficient rare earth element extraction.

American Rare Earths has been chosen to supply feedstock for the Department of Energy's METALLIC consortium, aimed at establishing domestic critical minerals supply chains. In December 2025, the company provided approximately 5 tonnes of allanite ore from the Cowboy State Mine for research.
The METALLIC consortium, led by the National Energy Technology Laboratory, combines resources of nine national labs to improve CMM technologies. Halleck Creek ore will be utilized at four test centers, employing ARR's processing methods. This collaboration enhances U.S. supply chain security for rare earth elements and supports environmentally responsible practices.
