At 15:00 on Monday, fire crews responded to an ammonia leak at an industrial site located on Leacroft Road, Birchwood. Teams from Warrington, Lymm, Frodsham, and Widnes confirmed that all staff had been safely evacuated upon arrival.

Firefighters established cordons and utilized breathing apparatus to isolate the leak source. The incident was subsequently handed back to site representatives.
