The Andalusian Energy Agency is leading the COMPiTE initiative to promote green hydrogen for decarbonization in southern Europe. This project, part of the POCTEP Program, aims to foster collaboration between Andalusia and Portugal's Algarve and Alentejo regions, focusing on technological innovation and renewable energy use.

The initiative will include training activities and knowledge transfer to enhance employment and skills policies across the border. The agency will assess the energy context and policies of the involved regions to identify green hydrogen opportunities and develop a cross-border renewable hydrogen roadmap.
