Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (APIIC) plans to allocate a record 30,000 acres for industrial development from 2024 to 2026. The government is offering land at reduced rates, with prices as low as 99 paise in some cases, to draw investors, particularly in sectors like steel and data centers.
Significant projects include the Vizag Steel Plant and new steel factories in Kadapa and Nakkapalli. The initiative is expected to boost employment, increase purchasing power, and enhance GST revenue for the state. Development efforts span various regions, including Kurnool and Anantapur, indicating a comprehensive strategy for growth.
