Andhra Pradesh Attracts ₹23.5 Lakh Crore Investment During Nara Lokesh's Outreach in Zurich
Andhra Pradesh's IT Minister Nara Lokesh reported that the state attracted investments worth ₹23.5 lakh crore over the past 18 months, creating job potential for 16 lakh people. This investment surge is credited to Chief Minister N.
Chandrababu Naidu's leadership, with Andhra Pradesh securing 25.3% of total investments in India. Lokesh addressed the European Telugu Diaspora in Zurich, urging them to act as brand ambassadors and invest in the state.
The government is developing quantum computing facilities in Amaravati and promoting aquaculture and renewable energy in various regions. Significant projects include Google's AI data center in Visakhapatnam and a ₹1 lakh crore steel plant by RSLR Mittal. The Andhra Pradesh government is also establishing a ₹50 crore corpus fund to support non-resident Telugus in entrepreneurship and is focusing on advanced technologies like AI and quantum computing.
