Andhra Pradesh's ACME Group to Develop 400 MW Solar Project with Battery Storage in Anantapur
Andhra Pradesh's Education Minister Nara Lokesh announced that ACME Group is set to develop a 400 MW solar project with integrated battery storage in Anantapur, backed by an investment of Rs 3,000 crore. The project, which aims to enhance grid stability and provide reliable renewable energy, is scheduled for commissioning by 2026 and aligns with the state's goal to become a national hub for renewable energy while creating two million jobs in five years.

Education Minister Nara Lokesh announced the progress of ACME Group's 400 MW solar power project with integrated battery energy storage in Anantapur, developed under the Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy framework. The project moved from approvals to execution in four months, with an estimated investment of Rs 3,000 crore.
Scheduled for commissioning by 2026, it aims to provide reliable renewable energy and enhance grid stability. The state government emphasizes creating an investor-friendly environment, with a commitment to generate two million jobs in five years. The ACME-FDRE project aligns with Andhra Pradesh's strategy to become a national hub for renewable energy, supported by robust infrastructure and streamlined clearance processes.
