Anglo Asian Mining Reports Significant Increase in Copper Production
Anglo Asian Mining's copper output rose to 3,711 tons in Q1 2026, a substantial increase from 534 tons in Q1 2025. This growth reflects the company's strategy to enhance production capabilities at its Azerbaijan mines, which may strengthen its market position in the copper sector.

In the first quarter of 2026, Anglo Asian Mining reported copper production of 3,711 tons, up from 534 tons in the same period last year. The Gedabek mine contributed 1,462 tons, while the Demirli mine produced 2,249 tons.
Additionally, gold production reached 6,062 ounces, slightly higher than the 6,028 ounces from the prior year, and silver output increased to 42,796 ounces from 30,315 ounces. Total concentrate sales amounted to $45.6 million, with gold bullion sold at an average price of $4,728 per ounce.
The company ended the quarter with $30.8 million in unsold inventory and net cash of $17.7 million. This production increase could enhance Anglo Asian's competitive edge in the copper market, reflecting effective operational strategies.
