Annual Energy Taiwan and Net Zero Taiwan Expositions Set for October 2025, Highlighting Renewable Energy Innovations
Taipei is set to host the annual Energy Taiwan and Net Zero Taiwan exhibitions from October 29 to 31, 2025, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. Co-organized by TAITRA and the Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance (GESA), these flagship events are pivotal in promoting energy transition and carbon reduction strategies aimed at achieving net zero emissions.
This year, the exhibitions will expand their reach across the first and fourth floors, uniting key players in the renewable energy sector to create a comprehensive supply chain. As the Asia-Pacific region's premier platform for the green industry, these exhibitions underscore the rapid emergence of the renewable energy sector amidst a global energy transition.
According to projections from the International Energy Agency, energy investments are expected to soar to $3.3 trillion by 2025, with clean energy alone accounting for $2.2 trillion. This marks green energy as a primary focus for global investment. In response to the challenges facing renewable energy supply, the Taiwanese government has introduced the Energy Transition 2.0 policy and an extensive carbon reduction action plan for the energy sector, emphasizing the development of cutting-edge technologies such as decarbonized hydrogen, methane pyrolysis, behind-the-meter energy storage systems, geothermal energy, small hydropower, carbon capture and storage, offshore wind power, and solar photovoltaics.
Energy Taiwan will feature four primary exhibition areas: photovoltaics, wind energy, smart storage, and emerging power. The expo will attract notable enterprises, including Taiwan Solar Energy Corporation, Motech Industries, and Ørsted, among others. This gathering will connect stakeholders across the renewable energy supply chain—from research and development to manufacturing and integrated applications—showcasing innovative technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of energy.
Particularly noteworthy is the emerging power area, which highlights diverse renewable energy applications, including hydrogen energy and thermal energy systems. By creating a one-stop platform for business and trading in green energy, the exhibition enables businesses to capitalize on early opportunities in the ongoing energy transition.
As concerns over global warming mount, with predictions indicating a breach of the critical 1.5°C threshold, the urgency for carbon reduction remains paramount. The Net Zero Taiwan exhibition will further emphasize corporate sustainability efforts, reinforcing the notion that the path to net zero must remain steadfast and proactive.
